Swimming is one of the best low impact exercises there is, and a refreshing dip in the water is energizing and relaxing — all at the same time!
Open during gym hours, the indoor pool at MUV Fitness allows for year-round water exercise. Swim laps or take an aquatic exercise to improve cardio fitness, endurance, and flexibility.
Why is swimming such good exercise? It’s a low impact workout, meaning it’s gentle on hips, knees, and ankles; but swimming is also a great way to rev your heart rate, build endurance, and tone muscles.
Swimming laps is energizing to get endorphins pumping and blood circulating. It’s not always about speed, though; swimming is also a great way to relax as you complete laps at your own pace.
